The draft Commission Regulation aims at prohibiting the use of 3-Benzylidene Camphor as a UV filter and a UV absorber in cosmetic products by deleting it from the list of authorised UV-filters in Annex VI and by adding it to the list of prohibited substances in Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
