The French cosmetics group has just announced that it has entrusted the transportation of its goods to Neoline, a ship owner recognized for its commitment to the environment. This will to improve the freight of its products is part of Clarins’ CSR strategy to reduce its carbon footprint.
Maritime transport, which is essential for the transport of goods, has a strong ecological impact. It alone accounts for 7% of global oil consumption. “Neoline offers a unique solution, open to all shippers, which allows to reduce by 90% the CO2 emissions linked to the maritime transport of goods on a transatlantic line compared to a conventional vessel of the same size.
