Guerlain sponsors the Millière Valley

“I have succeeded in fulfilling a dream: to acquire an extraordinary estate of 30 hectares that I have known since I was a child. The idea is to give freedom to nature, to have no more human intervention and to study the way nature takes back its rights. There is a utopian side to it, but it is also exciting. Insects, foxes, badgers, large animals will be able to reclaim their own habitat,” explained the photographer.

Guerlain wished to provide financial support to the association that Yann Arthus-Bertrand presides over in order to carry out the restoration and protection projects of the Millière Valley.

“Guided by the values of sharing and transmission that are dear to Guerlain, the Vallée de la Millière is continuing its transformation into a haven of biodiversity. Its vocation is to be a place open to the general public, which from 2023 will welcome small groups to raise awareness and educate them about ecological issues. By encouraging fertile exchanges between people and nature, Guerlain and the Vallée de la Millière want to convey a message of hope and encourage renaturalization in France,” said the brand.
