As part of the implementation of the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA), the FDA is mandated to publish its own rules for GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). The US Agency has just announced a public meeting to prepare the content.
This is a “listening session” that the FDA is holding on 1 June 2023.
The purpose of this virtual public meeting is to consult with cosmetic manufacturers (including small businesses and contract manufacturers), consumer organisations and other experts to inform the Agency’s work in developing regulations to establish good manufacturing practices for facilities that manufacture or process cosmetic products distributed in the United States.
