In a December, 1st press release, the perfumes manufacturers Annick Goutal announces the leaving of Brigitte Taittinger, its Chairperson. A new Chairperson, a Korean responsible from the AmorePacific Group, which bought the company eighteen months ago, will replace her at the end of the year.

Brigitte Taittinger, the Chairperson of Parfumes Annick Goutal, and the AmorePacific Group, have decided by mutual agreement to end their collaboration.
Brigitte Taittinger has managed this company for twenty years.
Since the arrival of the Korean group, eighteen months ago, Brigitte Taittinger accepted to be the Manager of the company.
The main reason was to sensitise the AmorePacific Group staff to the keys of the success-story of the brand, then, to structure the company in view to comply with the development objectives planned by the AmorePacific Group for the coming years.
This step arriving, successfully, to its end, Brigitte Taittinger will leave the company at the end of the year, to be replaced as manager by a Korean delegate of the AmorePacific Group, to whom she wishes every success.
“I am confident that the AmorePacific Group will develop the Annick Goutal brand while respecting the originality and the higher-end positioning of the concept,” Brigitte Taittinger adds.
