The supplier of cosmetic and pharmaceutical ingredients has just completed its second acquisition in Peru. This processing facility for plant-based raw materials will help the company to control its entire value chain, thereby promoting more sustainable development.
This site will be dedicated primarily to the manufacture of avocado oil. Avocado is used in seven active ingredients designed by Expanscience, and is also present in several Mustela skincare products.
The new plant will significantly reduce the gas consumption needed to dry the avocado, while improving working conditions for employees.
The raw materials supplier favors the purchase of avocados from sorting deviations, ensuring a source of income for small producers while combating waste.
