The group specialising in the design of cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food ingredients has announced the opening of a “Creative Centre” in Shanghai. The site, designed to promote IFF’s development in China and the Asian market, is to be operational by the end of August 2024.
This Creative Centre has been designed as a place of “technical synergy and sensory exploration. It features an exclusive space dedicated to fine fragrance and a 360-degree digital space, offering an immersive olfactory experience that links the physical and digital realms, creating the framework for live educational workshops.”
The 16,000 square metre facility is IFF’s largest in Asia.
“The Shanghai Creative Centre will bring together IFF’s capabilities in one location, enabling us to enhance our end-to-end solutions offering for customers in Asia and around the world,” said Erik Fyrwald, CEO of IFF. “This was a natural next step after the opening of our Innovation Centre in Singapore in 2022 and reaffirms our commitment to driving innovation forward in Asia.”
