Equileap is the first organization to provide data and information on gender equality in the corporate sector. It has ranked the ESG performance (Gender Equality Scorecard) of 4000 companies worldwide. The 2023 report has just been published… and L’Oréal takes first place for France.
L’Oréal is ranked first in France in terms of gender equity by the Equileap 2023 barometer. The group is also ranked 11th in the world, among 3,500 companies in 23 countries.
L’Oréal has been included in the Equileap ranking every year since its creation in 2017.
“We are honored to be recognized for the sixth consecutive year by the Equileap gender equity ranking and to be the first in France. This equity goes hand in hand with our mission to create beauty that moves the world forward. We are proud of the progress we have made so far, but we continue to strive for greater equity, diversity and inclusion across our entire ecosystem,” said Nicolas Hieronimus, CEO of L’Oréal Group.
Also in the ranking are Dow at 19th place overall (1st in the US), Procter & Gamble (23rd), IFF (25th), Covestro (87th) and Croda (100th).
