The financial, climatic and social context is pushing the Rocher group to review its copy in order to perpetuate its activity in the years to come. The company therefore intends to continue its sustainable development work and also to conquer other international markets.
“The change in consumption patterns and the depletion of natural resources are challenges to be met. In addition, the consequences of the pandemic and the uncertain economic environment are prompting us to transform our models and organizations more quickly in order to adapt to these issues,” explains the Rocher group. “These changes will enable us to gain agility.”
To achieve its goals, the company has devised the Green Conquest plan. It is based on five pillars:
• Developing the uniqueness of the group’s brands
• Accelerating international expansion in Asia and North America with the developing a premium division
• Strengthening investments in research and innovation in plant-based cosmetics
• Reducing the ecological footprint and increase the social impact of the entire value chain
• Simplifying business models and strengthening synergies within the group to free up financial resources (useful for developing the four areas listed above)
