Most of the actors of the cosmetic world are aware of the major changes involved by the Regulation 1223/2009, which will be implemented in full on 11 July 2013, in lieu of the Directive on cosmetics. On the other hand, the distributors, though also affected by the new requirements, are less sensitized. Therefore, for them, who sell cosmetics in supermarkets, in perfumeries, in pharmacies, in hairdressing salons, in beauty salons, the Federation of Beauty Companies (FEBEA) organizes a "conference-training day", free of charge, on 18 February 2013.
On the 11 July 2013, a reminder by the FEBEA to all the actors, the Regulation on cosmetics (EC Regulation 1223/2009) will be fully implemented. The Federation, facing many questions by its members, has organized a "conference-training day", free of charge, for all the distributors of cosmetic products.
This event is open to all the distribution networks (mass markets, selective, pharmacies, beauticians, hairdressers, direct sales), and to all the functions in a company (salespeople, legal department, regulatory department …).
The aim is to provide the distributors with the main points of the Regulation, to detail the new obligations that they shall be compliant with, to present the management of the cosmetovigilance and of the notification they will now be involved in …
This training day will be conducted by the FEBEA Legal and Social Affairs, and Scientific and Regulatory teams, on 18 February 2013, afternoon (2PM – 5PM), in Paris MEDEF Auditorium, 55 avenue Bosquet, 75007).
