They are practiced after every bath and every diaper change… which can happen 6 to 10 times a day during the first months of a child's life. And on a sensitive area if there are any, and moreover with very specific characteristics: its hydration rate and pH different from the skin of the body, its increased permeability and its almost permanent confinement inside the layers call for particular care and gestures, just like cosmetic products the most respectful possible of the epidermis.

Red buttocks and erythema are not inevitable. Daily care and proper technique are essential to prevent them and keep your baby's breech as healthy and fresh as the skin of the whole body. To repeat with each diaper change.

Cleaning

Lay baby on a clean towel. Open the diaper. With its front panel, wipe the buttocks and fold the diaper over itself by placing it under the buttocks.

In case of stools, first clean the baby's buttocks with a glove and water, then refine the cleansing with a cleansing milk (or a liniment) and a cotton pad.

A liniment, which is also a care product, can just be wiped with cotton to remove excess product. A cleansing milk, on the other hand, must be rinsed, preferably with thermal water, skin problemss observed as a result of the increased use of'no rinse' products having been particularly observed at seat level.

The drying

It is essential. Water is a factor of microbial proliferation and dermatitis, maintaining a moist environment under the occlusion of the layer promotes diaper rash. It is therefore particularly important, with each change, to dry well even in the smallest folds, and even in each small fold!
