As usual in the fall, the Cosmetic 360 trade show takes place at the Carrousel du Louvre. From October 12 to 13, 2022, nearly 220 exhibitors will present their new products. CosmeticOBS spoke with Franckie Béchereau, Deputy General Manager Europe and International at Cosmetic Valley (organizer of the event), to know the specificities of this edition.
CosmeticOBS: Back-to-school season is busy and professionals’ schedules can quickly become hectic. What makes this show so unique?
Frankie Béchereau: Cosmetic 360 is truly an industry meeting in the broadest sense. Our ambition is to bring together all the trades of the sector. We even go off the beaten track by inviting professionals from other industries. The aim is to encourage meetings that we don’t necessarily consider, but which can give rise to new concepts. In addition to the show, we have created a “Cosmetic 360 Week”. From October 10 to 17, several events will take place such as the visit of the company Givaudan in Argenteuil, R&D meetings in Orleans, or an evening cruise in Paris to promote networking.
CosmeticOBS: Last year, a summit was organized in parallel with the show. Are you doing it again this year?
FB: As a reminder, the Cosmetic Valley held the Cosmetic General Assembly in 2020, in response to the health crisis. The 2021 summit was a continuation of this event and an opportunity to take stock, one year later, of the commitments made by the industry in favor of recovery.
