Cosmetics Europe has elected Loïc Armand as President of Cosmetics Europe for the 2014 -2016 term. He is currently President of L’Oréal France, the French subsidiary of L’Oréal Group.
Loïc Armand began his career in 1980 with the Inspection Générale des Finances, in the French Ministry of Finance, before joining L’Oréal Group in 1984. He has been a Board member of COLIPA/Cosmetics Europe since 2001. He most recently served as Cosmetics Europe Vice President and Treasurer and is deeply committed to responsible advertising.
Cosmetics Europe also approved at its General Assembly on 13 June, Vice-Presidents, Petra Hanke-Baier of Procter & Gamble and Marival Diez Director-General of STANPA as well as Treasurer, Isabelle Martin of Estée Lauder.
The Cosmetics Europe’s Scientific Conference took place in Brussels on 10-11 June, followed by the General Assembly on 12-13 June. Both events brought together Cosmetics Europe members, corporate entities, trade organisations, and industry leaders from around the world to discuss the Cosmetics and Personal Care Industry.
