Business France has just published the results of its overseas support service. This report highlights the fact that companies (from all sectors, including cosmetics) assisted by Team France Export have succeeded in increasing their exports to their target markets, have generated turnover and have contributed to France’s international reputation.
In 2021, Business France will count 136,400 French exporters worldwide, 48% of which are SMEs and Mid-Caps. Team France Export advises 64% of them.
Moreover, the performance of these small companies is on the rise (+6.2% in 2021).
Team France Export works with 64,000 manufacturers. 10,550 of them have joined the adventure in 2021 and 62% have entered a new zone in the past year.
“The companies supported by Team France Export have seen their results grow by 21.1% between 2019 and 2021, or 7.5 percentage points more than the structures not supported,” adds Business France. “And it’s not over yet, because between the second quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2022, 138,700 companies have exported, the highest level in 20 years.
The most successful sectors are:
• Textiles (+30%)
• Agri-food (+28%)
• Pharmaceuticals, chemicals and cosmetics (+24%)
“The chemical sector, including perfumes and cosmetics, has seen one of the most significant increases, up 22%.
