Firmenich, the fragrance and taste company, launches EcoScent Compass Next Generation, its integrated science-based impact measurement tool for eco-fragrance design, with extended, robust sustainability data and verifiable claims.

Originally launched in 2018, EcoScent Compass is a digitally integrated sustainability design tool, which meets consumers needs and demands for conscious fragrances and now enables a higher degree of precision in sustainable creation and understanding.

Now with 45 fragrance claims and 20 ingredients claims, EcoScent Compass Next Generation advances clients’ ability to communicate sustainable progress with consumers by translating numbers into claims and proof of impact.
The perfumers can formulate responsibly by optimizing fragrance designs, at the very beginning of creation, with more than 80 data points for each ingredient and three key pillars: circular creation, climate, and nature, and impact on people and community. The additional data points support a more precise and complete sustainability view of the fragrance.
