Sensitive and fragile, the lip contour marks over time, just like the eyes. These are the two most expressive areas of the face, those where the facial muscles are concentrated. This global anti-ageing treatment premium combines 3 golds (mineral, vegetable - saffron - and biotechnological : a gold-bearing micro-alga grown in a gold bath) with decongestant caffeine. Darphin Exquisâge Eye and Lip Beauty Reviving Cream (15 ml, 58 €, from March) contains 84% ingredients of natural origin. With a large reinforcement of peptides, plant extracts (Sapindus mukurossi, Caesalpinia spinosa, Siegesbeckia orientalis inhibitor of collagenase…) or algae (Laminaria digitata), it fights against the signs of fatigue of the age around the eyes and lips (loss of elasticity,"wrinkled" appearance). A botanical extract derived from silk tree helps to firm and protect the skin against external aggressions. Camomile d'or, associated with a mixture of polysaccharides, minimizes the areas of shadows to bring luminosity. Liftiane Eye & Lip Contour from SVR Laboratories (15 ml, 22 €), is also an anti-wrinkle and anti-dark circle treatment, based on resveratrol, plumping hyaluronic acid, hydroxyproline with a pro-collagen action, decongestant peptide… that rejuvenates look and smile. Its plus? Its high tolerance, because it is formulated with an allergen-free fragrance. As for Excellence Code Contours Globale Jeunesse Yeux Lèvres Age Exception by Yonka (15 ml, 75 €, from April), intended for women aged 55 and over, it acts on all signs of age, with the added bonus of an immediate light effect. (organic soft focus powder and natural pink pigments that reflect light). It also uses silk tree (an active ingredient to remember for both zones!) which strengthens the dermal structures by stimulating the synthesis of elastin and collagen, but also many plant extracts (alfalfa, white lupin, divine herb, large nasturtium, konjac…), red seaweed or spheres of hyaluronic acid and coenzyme Q10. The icing on the cake: its high precision zamac applicator with ice cube effect.

Specific anti-ageing lip contour care

Really pointed, these solos care are still confidential, one finds them only in selective distribution and they concern only a small part of the female gente, but they develop. We apply them on the lips and their contours, which is appreciable. Estée Lauder's New Dimension Restructuring Lip Care (15 ml, 50 €) is a duo that plumps up on one side and fills fine lines on the other. Honey Smile Liftant Soin Liftant Lèvres et Contours Abeille Royale de Guerlain (15 ml, 70 €) combines noble products of the bee (honey from the island of Ouessant, natural healing, and royal jelly) and futuristic as well as intuitive applicator, in 22-carat gold-plated metal, which refreshes and allows all massages (smoothing, pressing, tapping…). The gourmand texture, as rich as a balm thanks to the presence of a 100% natural"beeswax butter", nourishes and sublimates the lips.

When lip exfoliants are renewed…

Every winter, it comes out a few, but the gesture"deseasonalizes" since Clinique launches one next May: Sweet Pots- Sugar Scrub & Lip Balm (24 €). Its gourmet packaging, reminiscent of a macaroon, houses a double-sided product. On one side, a sugar scrub filled with vegetable oils (avocado, grape seed, jojoba seed) that removes dead skin, on the other, a moisturizing balm with a touch of color (seven shades including an amazing Lemon Blue). Mister Scrub from Givenchy, a smoothing lip scrub (€29.50) and The Kiss lip scrub from Lush (€9.45) in a vegan version made from brown sugar, sea salt, almonds and cocoa butter are also available in stick form.
