Maison Crivelli, the up-and-coming niche perfume brand, has teamed up with perfumer Paul Guerlain (Jean-Paul’s grandson) to create Neroli Nasimba, an orange blossom with deliciously feline accents that is unlike anything you’ve ever seen!

For this new opus, Thibaud Crivelli was inspired by a personal experience of discovering the orange blossom during a walking safari. Neroli Nasimba (eau de parfum 100 ml, €185, or 30 ml discovery format, €85, from March) revisits this essential ingredient of haute perfumery by contrasting the luminosity of orange blossom (neroli) essential oil with the darker character of supple, tawny leather.

The fragrance opens with a juicy, citrusy note of mandarin orange. The freshness of citrus is reinforced by petit grain and a vibrant duo of cardamom and pink berries.
The heart of the creation is an exploration of orange blossom in all its forms. The main ingredient here is Tunisian neroli essential oil, which brings a sparkling, orangey, zesty floral sweetness, while orange flower absolute introduces a slightly animalic sweetness.
The base notes are worked around Saffiano leather (captive IFF that offers a velvety suede tone), cistus absolute and vetiver. They give the perfume its originality and support its floral radiance with their leathery, woody and ambery facets.
