ANSM: a wave of injunctions to cosmetic companies

At the end of July, the ANSM is updating its files and has just published no less than four decisions ordering the companies concerned to comply with Annex I of the Cosmetics Regulations concerning the report on product safety or with the ISO 22716 standard on GMP.

Four companies manufacturing or producing cosmetic products were targeted by the ANSM and the injunctions published between 22 and 27 July.

Bioscreen

The establishment of Bioscreen, located 54 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris, is accused of the following non-compliances and breaches: absence of safety reports established in accordance with Annex I of Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009, for all products placed on the market.

Injunction The ANSM requires Bioscreen to have safety reports in compliance with the Cosmetics Regulations for all products placed on the market within six months.

Ingrid Millet

The establishment of Ingrid Millet, located 54 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris, is accused of the following non-compliances and breaches: absence of safety reports established in accordance with Annex I of Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009, for all products placed on the market.

Injunction The ANSM requires Ingrid Millet to have safety reports in compliance with the Cosmetics Regulations for all products placed on the market within six months.

Abo Cosmetics

Following the regularisation of the situation, this injunction was lifted on 3 March 2017.
