We spoke a great deal during these two conference days about regulation, texts to come and apply, about obligations (in particular those which the
new European Regulations
or the Reach plan will impose on actors in the sector), of constraints, monitoring of the market, evaluation of safety, controls, responsibility and notifications, undesirable effects (whether to index them or to minimize them), of the role of competent authorities, the complexity of the implementation of certain points of the legislation, of the cost that this represents for companies…in short, everything that is (some part) behind the scenes of cosmetics, made up of the obligatory and strictly codified administrative passages. Not very glamorous, we must say, but nonetheless indispensable and guarantors of a buoyant market the same as consumer safety.
In this context, the intervention of Philip Martinez felt like a breath of fresh air. Why? What was he talking about? Of the future, of seduction, good humor and happiness …and it all had to do with cosmetics! With a premise in a mantra: the cosmetics of toomorrow will be for well-being and pleasure…rediscovered and embraced!
