A pink pigment in my anti-aging cream!

undefined

Anti-aging face creams seem to be endowed with new finery these days: the pink colour. And if you never wear makeup (or do not feel like wearing makeup in the weekend, for example), it makes a real difference. Complexion creams, rosy glow effects, nude creams… the colours are real attractive, and you look radiant right after application.

From now on, nude effects also adorn face creams, following the ‘me, only better’ triumph. Just take a look at them and you will get the impression your skin is already fresher! Thanks to a clever balance of light-reflecting pigments and to a more or less pronounced pink shade, they do reactivate the skin’s natural light, a little like the ‘pH-reactive’ lip balms that turn the mouth pink to beautify it.

Givenchy were among the first to dedicate a whole range to this type of products, with L’Intemporel Blossom:
• Rosy Glow Highlight Care Face & Eyes, 15 ml, €50.50
• Radiance Reviver Cream, 50 ml, €78.50
• Beautifying Radiance Serum - Anti-Fatigue, 30 ml, €80
A special mention for the Rosy Glow Highlight Care, whose clearly pinkish, slightly covering shade brightens and smooths signs of fatigue.
As for the Radiance Reviver Cream, its transforming formula turns pink when it comes in contact with the skin for a more relaxed look.

Vichy have also imagined Neovadiol Rose Platinium (50 ml, €34) for mature skins. This fortifying, revitalizing pink cream soaked with carefully selected pigments is a real good idea if you think makeup highlights wrinkles.

Yves Saint Laurent have created Top Secrets Eye Perfecting Fluid (15 ml, €36), whose peach-coloured micro-pearls illuminate tired eyes.

After Glow Crème (45 ml, €35.90) and Pink Perfect Crème (45 ml, €33.90), ‘baby skin effect’ specialist Erborian have launched BB Drops Makeup Add-on Baby Skin Effect (20 ml, €35.90). Its blur texture evens out the complexion and blurs fine lines and imperfections.

The apricot shade is also one of the secrets of the latest Sublimage Chanel creation (L’Extrait de Crème, 50 ml, €450).

Lastly, on March 19, Lancôme will launch Rénergie Multi-Glow Rosy Skin Tone Reviving Cream (50 ml, €79), which reactivates mature skins’ natural pinkish glow. The icon is no other than Isabella Rossini.
