When facial care"dresses" the nakedness of the skin

© L'Observatoire des Cosmétiques

Before it was the other way around, make-up borrowed from skincare. Today, and even for the eye or lip area, but especially for the face, it is the facial treatments that borrow from make-up its optical illusions and other"blur" effects. These complexions moisturize, protect against pollution and/or UV rays. BB care" without any pigment, which does not dye the skin, but"idealizes" it by making its perfect nudity. Enough to renew the endless exercise of hydration back to school!

The"me for better" trend is taking hold of facial care. Typically French, this natural discretion and good taste is praised throughout the world. If it is almost invisible and requires a lot of work in make-up, it is not the case with these creams of a new kind which make a pretty skin, quickly, fresh complexion! Rich in light reflectors and perfecting ingredients, these"complexion care products", most of which are moisturizers, bring to the top the clever optical technologies to sublimate the complexion.

Friday wear cosmetics

The real bonus of the moisturizing treatments of the new school year is to make a pretty complexion right away. This trend initiated by L'Oréal Paris (with its Sublimist range, then Age Perfect Golden Age, Soin de jour rosé, 50 ml, 15,90 €), or Yves Saint Laurent (Hydratant éclat instantané Top Secrets, 40 ml, 50 €), is confirmed furiously this autumn 2016! Without pigments, but rich in light reflectors and perfector ingredients, these hybrid fluids magnify the skin while moisturizing it. They harmonize the complexion, smooth the epidermis and allow, for those who do not wear make-up or little, to zap the foundation. The others can adopt it during the weekend or by Friday wear cosmetics! The pinnacle of the no make up with a luminous complexion.

Hydrabio Perfector SPF 30, Bioderma's Radiance Booster Smoothing Moisturizer (40 ml, €18.80) smoothes the skin texture, illuminates the complexion and protects against UV rays. Garancia innovates with Hallucinogen, a transparent liquid powder complexion care (30 ml, 31.50 €) that gives a real radiance and evens out the complexion, with an anti-wrinkle and anti-pollution effect. Estée Lauder offers in its new Genuine Glow range a Complexion Perfecting Moisturizer, with or without SPF (30 ml, 34 €). Inspired by Korean beauty trends in glow, this perfect oil-free hybrid gently moisturizes, illuminates and refines skin texture (glucosamine), minimizing the appearance of pores (natural lecithin) and unifying skin tone (plum and molasses extracts). On September 5, the American brand will launch Revitalizing Supreme+, Anti-Aging Global Radiance Alarm Cream (30 ml, 68 €), a skincare product that allows you to wake up with a brighter complexion. In the same group, Pep-Start Clinique Instant Perfecting Moisturizer (50 ml, 30 €) includes the effects of blur to idealize the complexion.

Stripping

Radiance Detoxifying Care Light Esthederm (50 ml, 60 €) clearly announces the color. This hydra-detox treatment revives the skin's natural radiance by activating microcirculation, it helps to drain toxins and oxygenate the epidermis, while illuminating the complexion. Sanoflore will launch in September a light version of its Crème des Reines, Soin créateur de peau parfaite (50 ml, 30 €). Even the masks are from the part (Mask of the Queen Perfecting Jelly Instant Light of Sanoflore, 75 ml, 19.50 €, in September) ! Pregnant women are not forgotten (Crème Ma Jolie Peau Omum, Cosmébio certified, 40 ml, 25,90 €). And these new treatments make you love your skin naturally, like Eglantine & Miss Ferling's Amazing Fluid (50 ml, 38,50 €). Or the Uni Skin range from Payot, available from September (Pearl Perfecting Light Serum Concentrate, 30 ml, 71 €; Uni Skin Day Perfecting Unifying Cream, 50 ml, 63 €; Uni Skin Eyes and Lips Perfecting Unifying Balm, 15 ml, 39,50 €). Armani Prima's Continuous Radiance Moisturizing Balm (85 €) and its surprising compact texture, cast at 45°C, transform into a fresh fluid, providing a soft and radiant skin finish. The glow is ensured by the"Liquid Mirror" which ensures a prolonged reflection of light on the skin. Bobbi Brown's new magic gum is called Instant Confidence Stick, Stick Confiance Immédiate Fbleur de Rides (3 g, 38 €). Its invisible formula instantly blurs wrinkles and imperfections with light-reflecting weight-feather powders, while a skin care complex improves skin texture.

Eye contour care is no exception to the rule

It is undoubtedly in this segment that optical technologies have made the most progress. The new Nuxellence Zone Regard de Nuxe (15 ml, 35 €, in September) contains apricot pigments that unify dark circles. Estée Lauder's Eye Contour Perfecting Moisturizer (15 ml, 34 €) or Simone Mahler's Anti-Dark Circle Illuminating Eye Contour Corrector (15 ml, 36 €) are equipped with skilful blends of light pigments. Armani Prima's Perfecting Eye and Lip Contour Care (55 €, from August 22nd) targets the lips and under the eyes. It smoothes fine lines and dark circles, while allowing the skin's surface to better reflect light and improving make-up hold.

Even tonics and lip care are involved!

Yves Saint Laurent's first 3-in-1 lip perfector, Baume Lèvres Perfecteur Top Secrets (15 ml, 36 €) smoothes and moisturizes the lips, optimizing the make-up finish. As for Lull's Facial and Neck Light Toner (120 ml, 63 €), its subtly dosed fruit acids (organic grapefruit water extracts) refine the skin texture. Ideal for dull skin and asphyxiated by pollution, cigarette smoke or excess sebum, this tonic is available in five aromatherapy fragrances.
