May beauty be with you!

After toys, the Star Wars phenomenon is also appearing in cosmetics. The dark side of strength now has its perfume, its shower gels and even its varnishes! Small journey in the galaxy of these ephemeral novelties for the youngest..;

In anticipation of the film announced as a global event by Disney (Star Wars episode VII Le Réveil de la Force, scheduled for release in France on December 16th), and among the multitude of by-products that will soon invade the shelves, cosmetics are no exception to the rule! Shower gels, eaux de toilette, styling gels, varnishes… will also celebrate the great commercial mass. And that's just the beginning!

Corinne de Farme, who has the licence in beauty and hygiene for France, is having a field day. She launches two body and hair shower gels for teenagers (from 14 years old): Force Revitalizing Shower Gel or Power Fresh Shower Gel (250 ml, €2.75 each). Also to come, a Star Wars Rebels box set with a fresh and fruity fragrance for 6-9 year-olds (Eau de toilette, 50 ml), a 150 ml Hair Gel and, as a gift, a key ring featuring the main heroes of the 2015 saga (€11.60, from mid-October). The packaging uses the visual codes of the film (black colour, robots, star figures like Darth Vader…). A good opportunity for the brand to enter the male world of hygiene and beauty.

More feminine, the collection of 12 Starlight nail polishes from O.P.I also propels us into the sidereal space (15 ml, 13.90 €, in November). It is a collection inspired by StarWars, whose names and colours are all winks to the film, but not a partnership. Flamboyant reds ( Love is in my cards , Ro-mance-ce on the moon , Guys & Galaxies …), an intense and sparkling violet ( Cosmo with a twist ), a dark indigo ( Center of the you-niverse ), a dark blue that makes sparks ( Give me space ), but also stellar silver ( By the light of the moon ), galactic glitter ( Super star status, I drive a supernova )… These new shades, finishes and textures will adorn our nails with metallic reflections or"stardust". As you can see, the dark force is always shifting towards marketing!
