Beiersdorf met en place un système de valve aérosol plus respectueux du climat

Recently, new formats of aerosols for men are available on the market. They benefit from the Eco-Valve. This technology allows the use of more environmentally friendly inert gases (e.g. nitrogen) as a propellant in the aerosols. This allows for a higher output per can, resulting in a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, while ensuring excellent spray quality.
This Eco-Valve was developed by Salvaco, a UK-based engineering company.

“We have made significant progress on our sustainability journey in recent months. We share the vision of a climate-positive future with our partners at Salvalco and are delighted to be able to offer our consumers more climate-friendly aerosol products,” said Michael Becker, Head of Packaging R&D at Beiersdorf.
