Secure glass moves into the bathroom

Verescence, the world leader in glass bottles, and What Matters, a brand of care and hygiene products and cleaning products, are launching the first secure glass bottles. This patented innovation is 100% made in France. Cock-a-doodle-doo!

Aesthetically impeccable, the safety glass bottles look like frosted glass and feel like a soft second skin. Coated with a very thin layer of polymer that makes the bottles anti-slip and the glass six times more resistant, they allow the glass to enter the shower stall safely. The new material absorbs shocks. It is hydro-based, contains no solvents or PVC and meets the NF EN 71-3 standard for toy safety.

“Our glass bottles are safe for the family and secure because if the bottle breaks, the pieces can be retained inside its second skin, which reduces the risk of injury. From an environmental point of view, safety glass remains in the virtuous circle of glass recycling (therefore 100% recyclable),” says Charlotte Catton, co-founder of What Matters.
This is the first application of Verescence’s patent. For the glassmaker, a forerunner in eco-solutions, the What Matters project embodies the next step in eco-designed packaging, in line with the “glassification” trend and the democratization of refillables.
