The cosmetics heavyweight has just announced a partnership with artificial intelligence specialist Perfect Corp. Coty’s objective is to improve the customer experience, thanks to new technologies, both in physical stores and on the Internet.
A multi-channel agreement has been signed between Coty and Perfect Corp. Coty wants to strengthen its websites with virtual trial tools, online skin diagnostics and personalization based on the user’s data. Physical distribution is also concerned, as the partnership promises to enrich in-store purchases with touchless product experiences.
“This partnership adds a new dimension to Coty’s digital journey, integrating some of the best augmented and virtual reality technologies that will help our entire portfolio of brands unlock the best digital user experience and, as a result, advance social selling,” said Jean-Denis Mariani, Chief Digital Officer at Coty.
